How do I receive my Payout?

You’ll receive your payment 48 hours after your package is marked delivered by the postal service, as long as no claim has been opened by the buyer. We have a minimum payout amount of $25, so we’ll hold onto your funds until your total sales reach $25, then we’ll send the payout to you.

What happens if the shipping weight exceeds the label's limit?

If the package's weight exceeds the label's limit or fails to meet carrier requirements, the buyer may need to pay additional postage or risk package return. If reimbursement is required, buyers can contact us at claims@rummageapp.co. The reimbursement will be deducted from the seller payout. 

What is the seller's responsibility regarding shipping?

Sellers must pack and ship orders within 3 calendar days of purchase. Packages must be shipped via a trackable method provided by USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Sellers must also update tracking information on Rummage after shipping. Failure to do so may result in order cancellation.

What happens if my item is not shipped within 3 days of purchase?

If an order is not shipped within the time frame, buyers may request a full refund by contacting support@rummageapp.co

What if I can't ship my item within 3 business days?

If a seller cannot ship an item within 3 days of purchase, please contact us at support@rummageapp.co before the 3 days is up. 

What fees do buyers and sellers incur on Rummage?

Listing a purge is free! When you make a sale, sellers are charged 10% of the listing price, which will automatically be deducted from your payout. Buyers will pay a 5% plus .30 fee added to each purchase. Fees collected from buyers contribute to our buyer protection program, ensuring a secure transaction. Additionally, all fees support the ongoing development and enhancement of Rummage. We aim to provide a unique and engaging user experience.

Do I have to pay taxes on my purchases?

Yes, Taxes are not included in the list price for items but will be displayed to buyers before order confirmation. 

What if my package is lost in the mail?

In the event of a lost package, both sellers and buyers are advised to contact the respective postal service used for shipping to track their package. Most packages have insurance provided.  For further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at support@rummageapp.co 

What is the return policy?

Please review our Return Policy located at rummageapp.co/policies for in depth information. In short all sales are final. If you have an issue with an order please open a claim within 48 hours of the postal service delivering your item.

What happens if there’s an issue with the item I bought?

If there is a problem with the item itself, such as misrepresentation or damage not disclosed by the seller, please reach out to Rummage customer support through the "My Orders" Tab. We will assist in resolving any disputes between buyers and sellers on a case-by-case basis

Can I track the status of my orders?

Yes, all tracking information can be found under "My Purchases" on the Platform.

Can I add shipping costs to my item?

Shipping costs must be included in the listing price of each item. 

Can I use my funds to pay for shipping labels?

No, Payouts are processed only after the item has been successfully delivered. This precautionary measure helps prevent fraudulent activities, such as shipping counterfeit or inaccurately described items.

Are there any restrictions on the types of items I can sell?

Rummage serves as a platform exclusively for buying and selling children's clothing and accessories. Any other content posted may be removed without prior notice.

How do I ship items I have sold?

We're working on integrating shipping directly into our platform. But in the meantime you can use online services like Pirate Ship or ShipStation. These platforms enable you to input addresses, pay for labels, and print them from home. While we may not be experts in using these services, we're here to offer assistance. How does the one-click "Buy Now" feature work on Rummage?

When you click the Buy Now button during a live purge or while browsing the marketplace, your card is immediately charged for the item. This streamlined feature allows for quick purchasing, so you don’t miss out on the items you want.

Can I cancel or undo my purchase if I accidentally click "Buy Now"

No, all purchases are final once you click the Buy Now button. Because this is a one-click system, your card is charged immediately, and the purchase is confirmed. Please make sure to review the item details carefully before clicking
